Aileen Barclay

Aileen has a BSc in Biology and over two decades of work in ecology and conservation. Through her work as owner of a consulting company, she has worked with many of Southern Ontario’s largest municipalities on public education and outreach programming for sustainable landscaping and other conservation-based initiatives. Aileen has been responsible for developing and delivering creative, ecology-based public outreach and education concepts for various stakeholder groups throughout Southern Ontario for over 20 years. Ms. Barclay has managed multiple natural resource management initiatives and has developed and implemented targeted engagement programs at community, municipal and national levels. Aileen graduated with an Honours Bsc. in Biology from Trent University and has taken numerous ecology, restoration, marketing, advertising and social psychology courses at college and professional institutes. She is an avid birder and a level II Ontario Naturalist.
