Come along for a guided birding walk through York Regional Forest's Nobleton Tract! This outing is designed for bird lovers of all experience levels. Families are welcome. We'll be looking for early migrants like Eastern Bluebird, Barn Swallow, and Eastern Phoebe.

Pride Month Nature Hike

June 11th, 2024 6:00-7:30 PM, MapleCross Nature Reserve

Join naturalist Maxwell Matchim (they/them) this Pride Month for a celebration of the amazing diversity of gender and sexuality in the natural world around us. Learn about the male Hooded Warbler couples that adopt abandoned eggs and raise young together. Discover how some birds are born half-male and half-female. This hike is designed for members of the LGBTQ2S+ community. Everyone is welcome to participate, and the safety of attendees is our top priority.
